Job Description

Insight Global is currently hiring a Mid-Level pre or recently acquired ASA certified Actuarial Associate for one of our top financial and insurance clients in the Des Moines area. This Actuarial Associate will be responsible for calculation, analysis, and review of statutory reserves and other balances for life insurance and annuity products. The team participates in quarterly reporting and analysis at the beginning of each quarter. Aside from quarterly reports they will have the opportunity to implement process improvements, adding value to the business, and work towards larger department goals. This person will need to be eager to dive into analysis and understand the why and how behind complex numbers. They will also need to be able to report their findings back to senior leadership to help serve the organization in a growth mindset. The annual compensation for this role is between $97,000-$140,000/yr.

Skills and Requirements

2-6 years of Statutory evaluation experience (Privately owned experience, not GAAP)

On the path to acquiring an ASA designation (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) or recently have acquired Experience w/ PolySystems Software or Alfa or MG Alfa as an analytics tool

 Experience w/ Alteryx to manipulate data null
