$10,000 sign on bonus for applicable candidates
Scheduled hours: Exempt position, day shift with accountability on other shifts.
Job Description:
Provides direction and leadership for care delivery in the Medical Care and Inpatient Rehab units. Plans and implements nursing budgets, monitors nursing productivity reports and collaborates with other leaders to facilitate favorable financial performance. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence -based practices for units' scope of care and ensures compliance. Supervises staff in the respective units and plays an integral role in departmental operations, including but not limited to; recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, promoting, discharging, assigning work, evaluating, rewarding, and disciplining. Actively supports and participates in shared governance. Assist staff in the respective clinical area as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
BSN required or obtained within 3 years
Minimum of 5 years experience in nursing practice
Previous leadership experience in the inpatient setting is required
Proficiency in clinical decision making and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Preferred:
Proficiency in computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel) preferred
Behavioral Health or Rehab nursing experience preferred
