Great River Health Systems Dietitian | 40 hours per week | Nutrition Services | WB & HCHC in West Burlington, Iowa

Minimum Hiring Wage:

From $29.58 per hour

Job Details:

SIGN ON BONUS: $10,000 with a 2-year commitment

Scheduled hours: Days

Location: West Burlington and Mt. Pleasant campuses

Job Description:

  • The Clinical Dietitian will assess patients for nutritional risk working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy compatible with patient goals and objectives.

  • Plans therapeutic diets as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with regulatory agencies.

  • Participates and counsels in inpatient and outpatient settings and community health programs as well as educates staff, review and update menus and nutrition education materials, and maintain quality assurance standards.

  • The dietitian will conduct nutrition education programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • BA or BS in Nutrition or related field

  • Licensed Dietitian in Iowa

PREFERRED

  • One (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred

  • MS Office preferred
