Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Weekly Pay)

Job Status : Full-time (Can Start ASAP)

Pay Range : $20 - $24/hour

Job Description: Seeking a skilled Install Technician to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the tear-out, retrofit, and installation of electric and gas fireplaces. Working primarily from work orders, you'll need to adjust and improvise to address unforeseen challenges such as uneven installations, gaps, and troubleshooting. This position involves close collaboration with a partner technician, handling gas lines, and utilizing existing electrical outlets to complete installations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Tear out, retrofit, and install electric and gas fireplaces according to work orders

• Address and resolve issues such as uneven fireplace installations, gaps, and other challenges

• Perform gas hook-ups and electrical connections for fireplace installations

• Work in teams to ensure efficient and accurate installation of fireplaces

• Handle gas lines and connect to existing electrical outlets as needed

• Safely use ladders to access chimneys and complete installations

• Travel to customer sites using a company van/truck

Work Environment :

• Fully on-site position based in Urbandale, Iowa

• Work attire: Jeans, comfortable closed-toed shoes, and a professional work shirt

• Team-based environment; the first 30-45 days will include training with an experienced technician before transitioning to independent work
