Aventure Staffing Quality Tech in Spencer, Iowa
Quality Tech| $18-$24/hour DOE
1st shift Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
A local Metal Manufacturing facility is seeking a Quality Technician to work on 1st shift, 10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, no weekends! Must have experience working in the metals field.
Responsibilities:
Tests and Inspects products to detemine and maintain quality of company products
Selects products and tests qualities such as lengths, diameters, thread locations and sizes for defective material
Utilized micrometers, height gauges, calipers, check pins and angle gauges
Compare dimensions on drawings or work orders for compliance
Maintain files of inspection and implements corrective actions
Recommends modification of existing quality and production standards within the limits of equipment capability
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience using a Height gage, caliper, Micrometer , angle gages ,pins
1 year of working in the metal manufacturing field
Excellent customer interaction and communication is an absolute must
Must have a valid driver's license
Pay & Benefits:
$18-$24/hr. Depending on experience
Paid every Friday
