Our client is looking for an Industrial Engineer to add to their team due to growth. Candidates should have experience working with SOPs, mapping and time study applications. Responsibilities will include:
Monitor operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
Study each critical process within the operation, developing countermeasures and opportunities.
Ensure processes are designed to meet quality standards on products.
Help develop SOPs or instruction manuals for production personnel.
Address safety issues or concerns and ensure work processes are safe.
Lend support and assist the Industrial Engineer with projects.
Generate process documentation and reports.
Help organize workspaces for optimum productivity within the boundaries of the facility.
Problem solving; process mapping, gap analysis and developing process metrics.
Requirements:
BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering required.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Experience working with Google Suite is a plus.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to bring values and a sense of ownership to the position.
Fluent in process mapping and time study applications.
Able to work overtime as needed and help out where needed
