Our client, a trusted provider of agricultural and industrial equipment, is looking for a Systems Engineer. In this role you will identify stakeholder needs, conduct tradeoff analysis, develop algorithms and functional architectures, review product design, and verify and trouble shoot systems.

responsibilities:

• Assist with gathering customer needs and lead translating these into detailed control system requirements.

• Lead the definition, analysis and allocation of requirements across the various engineering areas.

• Develop the high-level system architecture and perform trade-off analysis for design approaches.

• Plan machine-level system integration and testing approaches and procedures both virtually and physically.

• Provide technical leadership for a small to medium complex cross functional development projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field of Systems, Software, Mechanical, Agricultural, Electrical, or Aerospace and 4 years of product development experience in software, electronics, hydraulics, system and/or machine controls design.

• Proficient in developing electronic/hydraulic/mechanical control system.

• System integration and verification experience.

• Skilled in advanced troubleshooting skills, and root cause analysis utilizing FMEA, 8d's, and 6 sigma tools.

• strong preference for experience with model-based design and agile software development.

• Experience using Matlab/Simulink, SYSML, Jira, and Dassault 3D Experience.

• Familiar with J1939 multiplexed communication and diagnostic protocols.
