Job Title: Design EngineerJob Description

As a Design Engineer, you will examine requests from production regarding necessary changes and employ tools such as Solidworks and Autocad to implement design alterations. Collaborate with product design teams on substantial modifications and manage supplier relationships to bolster production inventory. You will also assist in implementing changes on the floor, ensuring that processes are followed, and handle engineering change orders within BOM, PDM, etc.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PELLA, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will primarily work in a cubicle style environment alongside your direct team but will also spend time on the plant floor and in various plant meeting settings. Currently, the role is partially remote due to the pandemic, requiring a reliable internet connection. Dress code is casual, with jeans and a polo acceptable, but steel-toed boots are required. Work hours are Monday to Friday, starting between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
