About the position:
Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Ability to read complicated drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of testing and measuring instruments. Responsible for providing technical support to the Manufacturing Department they are assigned. Performs a wide variety of complex tasks such as testing, adjusting, set-up and problem solving on complete functional units, complicated assemblies/weldments or machined parts.
- Supports both 4k and 6k assembly lines.
- Supports assembled vehicle inspection.
- 5 Whys on C findings.
- May maintain records pertinent to special sampling projects performed in conjunction with governmental agencies and private institutions.
- May operate electronic equipment and conduct sampling with the current line of instrumentation.
- May assist in the installation and set-up of instruments and equipment.
- May periodically inspect equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance work.

About the work environment:
Works in a factory setting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in accordance with Company policy. For forklift operation, required to obtain and maintain Forklift Driver Certification through the Company and operate the forklift in a safe manner. Required to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials. Temperatures may be extreme; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
About you:
Military technical training, vocational or equivalent on-the-job training is required. Requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in their respective field of expertise. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, schematics (electrical and hydraulic), QAPs and functional specifications. Requires a masterly knowledge of one or more assembly/welding and/or fabrication techniques, tools, test equipment, materials, machines and product.

- Experience looking at prints and build material
About the total compensation package:
Wage - $19.00 - $23.15 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s experience. Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
