MercyOne North Iowa is a clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Diagnostic Radiographer!
As a Diagnostic Radiographer at MercyOne, you will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Radiology Department.
Completes all diagnostic procedures as described in the diagnostic policy and procedure manual.
Instructs student technologists and peers as required.
Performs all departmental and hospital standard work as required.
Responsible for generating, reviewing, submitting, and completing diagnostic images as required.
Monitors diagnostic area, O.R. and ED for safety and uses safe radiation practices.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Follows MercyOne's culture beliefs in helping to obtain Mercy's Key Results.
Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work-related area and ensures equipment is in working condition.
Schedule:
- Full Time; 36 hours/week
General Requirements:
Must be board eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required at hire/transfer.Must be certified as a RDMS in ABD, OB/GYN, Breast and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) with in a 2-year period.
May be required to alternate shifts.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License if performing as Mobile Sonographer
Must be able to read, write and/or speak English.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support ( BLS Provider -American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer-American Red Cross) prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current status.
Must provide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status per State of Iowa guideline
