We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Tax Accountant. As a Corporate Tax Accountant, your main role will be to prepare and handle tax returns, oversee financial close activities, ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation requirements, and conduct tax legislation monitoring and research.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process both federal and state income and franchise tax returns, along with quarterly estimated payments and extensions.

• Handle various financial close activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, including reconciliation of tax general ledger accounts.

• Prepare income tax provisions, identify potential uncertain tax positions, and monitor tax accounting control procedures.

• Ensure strict adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation requirements.

• Assist in managing the company's federal and state income tax audits when required.

• Research and keep track of tax legislation changes and updates.

• Undertake and manage other special projects related to tax and accounting.

• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage corporate income tax and corporate tax compliance records.

Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate tax role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Extensive knowledge and experience in corporate income tax

• Demonstrated experience in corporate tax compliance

• Proven experience in income tax provision

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Current knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
