Safety Representative
Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Safety Representative to enhance our workplace safety and compliance. Responsibilities include writing operating procedures, performing hazard assessments, issuing permits, conducting safety audits and inspections, implementing safety policies and standards, leading the safety committee, maintaining safety records, planning safety-related events, and reporting on safety incidents and near misses. The role also involves assisting with safety training to ensure all team members are educated on the latest safety protocols and practices.

This is a fully on-site position in Johnston, Iowa.
Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, operating from 3pm to 11:30pm. The role includes a designated cubicle but requires multiple rounds on the floor each day to monitor and ensure safety compliance.
