Job Title: Greenhouse TechnicianQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Plant Genetics, Agronomy, Biology or related field

Shift

Monday-Friday 7:30-4pm

Job Description

• Daily greenhouse plant care, including seeding, pollinating, transplanting, watering, harvesting, and seed handling for corn, soybean, wheat, and other crops. Punch or cut and store small samples of plant tissue and deliver for laboratory analysis.

• Carefully maintain sample identity for thousands of samples at a time while maintaining proper storage conditions.

• Assist with experiments, collect data, and maintain records.

• Perform routine greenhouse sanitation tasks like discarding regulated material, destroying waste, cleaning pots/containers, and cleaning and sanitizing rooms.
