We are currently hiring a Global Seed Operations Digital Strategy Program Leader. This role will lead the digital strategy for Global Seed Operations to improve the digital ecosystem and culture, with the goal of optimizing data, processes and systems to unleash full potential of our resources and meet business objectives. This role will set the vision and priorities, work collaboratively across the seed organization and partner functions, and champion the development and execution of the overall multi-generation plan to achieve our digital strategy aspiration.

What You'll Do:

  • Champion the development of the digital strategy roadmap, working with a cross-functional team to identify strategic choices needed to achieve our goals, and work across the organization to define implementation plans.

  • Own the overall digital strategy implementation plan and oversee the different priorities/projects under the digital strategy umbrella impacting different groups within GSO and other functions.

  • Establish processes and management systems, in collaboration with other leaders and stakeholders, to enable and sustain the different elements of the digital strategy.

  • Champion processes to drive business value through effective project selection and execution.

  • Bring innovative ideas, concepts, and outside-in opportunities in a way that contributes to the broader team.

  • Large role in project valuation, business cases, and prioritization of opportunities our Seed Technology teams should pursue, which enables the technical experts to focus on the solution.

  • Ensure Seed Operations systems meet business needs, through prioritized investments, and by working collaboratively with Corteva IT.

  • Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior internal and external management.

  • Provide change management leadership across all aspects of our Global Seed Operations digital roadmap.

  • Prepare Seeds Operations for Future ERP and oversees Future ERP development and implementation in the future.

Qualifications

What Skills You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Business, Technology, or equiv. field. Masters' degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10-15 years experience with Agriculture, Operations, and Digital Transformation experience preferred.

  • Inspirational leadership - transformation requires working with people, addressing fears, creating excitement over the future. Relentless communication and engagement with stakeholders.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to cultivate trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders.

  • Change Leadership and ability to learn customer needs, manage through conflicting priorities, align self-organizing teams on vision, oversee change management, or handle conflicts.

  • Natural ability to build team, energize, uplift others. Strong ability to manage interactions and influence without authority.

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Seed Operations, Seed R&D, and Agricultural business.

  • Complex Project Management experience and proven ability to coordinate concurrent complex and cross-functional projects & deadlines.

  • Strong business acumen; analytical aptitude; ability to take complex information and summarize it in a meaningful way; ability to work effectively cross functionally and across diverse stakeholders.
