Our client, a leader in agricultural innovation, is seeking an Automation Sanitation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the Controlled Environments Team supporting the mission to solve the world’s food problems through innovation and technology. The ideal candidate will have a close attention to detail, good communication skills, and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Sanitation Technician

Location: Johnston, IA

Pay Range: Competitive compensation structure with bonuses

What's the Job?

• Be responsible for execution of autonomous robot activity and prepping and monitoring workload throughout the day.

• Perform routine sanitation tasks such as grinding bins of plant material and cleaning in and around automated headhouses and greenhouses.

• Troubleshoot and document automation issues and correct errors within the system.

• Execute on plant care tasks for various crops according to a defined schedule.

• Work in a safe manner while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

What's Needed?

• Close attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating protocols.

• Good communication skills and a high degree of self-motivation.

• The ability to work well independently.

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive company vehicles.

• Basic computer skills including experience with MS Office programs.
