Job Title: Safety Manager
Job Description
As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all safety activities, providing advice, and promoting an effective Safety Program. The role demands enforcing safe working practices and ensuring the safety of all personnel on site. You will coordinate and implement site-specific rules, and review safety documents to ensure accuracy and up-to-dateness. Your responsibilities will include conducting safety surveys, providing training, maintaining safety records, conducting project inspections, establishing safety programs, and implementing the Site Safety Plan. Additionally, you will lead safety administration tasks such as maintaining logs, reviewing safety processes, managing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Batavia, Ohio.
Work Environment
The role requires someone with at least 10 years of safety experience. You will work closely with hourly safety associates and corporate to align with specific safety standards. The position is based in a plant environment in Allentown, which is a heavy union environment. This role offers a pay of approximately $60/hour, with 1.5 times for overtime, GSA per diem, trips home package, and mobility/demobilization. The primary objective is to provide missing leadership to operational facilities regarding specific safety programs and expectations.
