Location: Dubuque, IA

Shift: First Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (with potential for overtime based on production line demands)

We are seeking a dedicated Material Coordinator to join John Deere in Dubuque, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the procuring, expediting, producing, and delivering of materials on time to support our production departments. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth production operations by managing material availability and resolving inventory challenges.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with various teams to identify and resolve gaps in material availability

Support production operators by finding and resolving material shortages

Conduct material audits to ensure accuracy and resolve inventory errors

Expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production flow

Manage critical shortage reports to guarantee part availability

Implement changes from the engineering release and change management process

Handle deviation management and make necessary material adjustments

Requirements

What Skills You Need:

Experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing

Strong communication and relationship management skills

Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

What Makes You Stand Out:

2+ years of experience in Supply Management or Manufacturing

Experience with Material Flow and working in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task

Proficiency in SAP and data analytics

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology, or an Engineering discipline, OR

2-3 years of equivalent related work experience
