PURPOSE: This position is responsible for the monitoring and accuracy of all Environmental Enclosures/Zoneworks inventory. This position is also responsible for documenting and auditing company inventory control processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Entering of all cycle counts and other inventory adjustments in a timely fashion. Generate cycle count reports, summarizing cycle results by part number, by location and by facility. Investigate cycle adjustments that exceed a predetermined tolerance level and report and document any findings to appropriate personnel. Conduct quarterly system to floor inventory audits. Assist in bill of material audits. Communicate cycle results on a monthly basis to manufacturing and support personnel. Communicate errors or process breakdowns in real time and coordinate efforts to resolve issues regarding inventory controls or practices. Develop and maintain a useful inventory scorecard to be shared with Environmental Enclosures management and its employees. Propose and implement inventory processes as needed, with accompanied documentation support. Professionally communicate inventory results to appropriate cycle counters and supervisors on regular basis. Facilitate inventory training as needed. Maintain regular communication with purchasing, planning, engineering and manufacturing to ensure inventory processes are followed and inconsistencies are identified. Work with appropriate production support personnel to identify reasons for daily inventory overissues, and communicate and coordinate corrections as needed. Reassess ABC inventory cycle codes annually. Develop and maintain accurate documentation of Environmental Enclosures inventory procedures and processes. Facilitate the engagement of manufacturing personnel, support personnel and engineering personnel in how they affect the overall inventory process. Willingness to assist cycle counters in counting when necessary. Motivate manufacturing personnel by soliciting input in developing inventory benchmarks and goals that are consistent with the company's strategic plan.

Assist with ensuring availability of materials to achieve completion of production schedule.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Timeliness and accuracy of cycle counts and inventory practices. Professional and effective communications with manufacturing, support, engineering and management personnel of inventory processes and/or issues. Document inventory measurements and processes in accordance with company procedure. Ability to effectively engage other personnel in understanding inventory and its processes. Capable of communicating and engaging personnel at various inventory skill levels. QUALIFICATIONS: This individual will need to be proficient in spreadsheet and word documents. Experience in AS400 and query writing will be helpful. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/R GISTRATIONS: APICS Certification preferred but not required.
