Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year.Job Summary:The speech-language pathologist provides educational services to students with communication disorders. In addition to providing speech-language services, they may serve as service coordinator to children and families when deemed appropriate.Please see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.Successful candidates for this position will possess:Master’s Degree in Speech Language PathologyIowa Statement of Professional Recognition or Professional Service LicenseIowa Department of Public Health Licensure (SLP)American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Certificate of Clinical Competence or actively pursuing (to be obtained within 2 years of hire)Position Details:Contract days vary by assignment7.75 hoursSalary schedule attached Candidates offered employment will be compensated based on skills, work experience and education.Des Moines Public Schools offers agenerous benefits packageincluding:IPERS
