What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Senior Director, Business Management & Analytics to join our team in Principal Asset Management. You will develop a business management & analytics practice at Principal Asset Management – with key focus on delivering actionable insights, leading strategic initiatives to drive the evolution of our operating platform and supporting leadership across organizational priorities. You'll focus on business performance, management reporting, capacity planning, and strategic project execution while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Business Management & Analytics: Develop and oversee reporting frameworks to monitor business performance, track KPIs, and provide insights into growth, capacity, and operational effectiveness.
Strategic Projects: Lead the execution of high-impact initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities. Lead project timelines, risks, and outcomes, ensuring collaboration with internal teams.
Operational Excellence: Drive frameworks to optimize our operating model; find opportunities to optimize workflows, improve resource allocation, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Resolve business challenges with long-term solutions.
Chief of Staff Support: Act as a thought partner to the Global Head of Client Experience, Operations & Technology. Prepare leadership communications, align cross-functional teams, and run non-personnel budgets.

Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business management, financial planning & analytics, or related roles within financial services, with at least 2 years in leadership
Consistent track record in management reporting, including financial performance, operational effectiveness, and capacity planning
Experience leading large-scale strategic projects and cross-functional teams
Background in strategic planning, forecasting, change management, and operational improvement within global, matrixed organizations
Willingness to travel globally as needed

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$174000 - $236000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
