Oracle Regional Vice President, CX, Financial Services in Des Moines, Iowa
Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.
Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Minimum five or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.

We are seeking a proven, strategic and tactical Regional Manager to lead a team of seven field sales representatives focused on financial services customers in the CX Strategic Accounts division. Our ideal regional manager excels at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals.
The position assumes overall responsibility for the team’s sales results, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that combines the robust power of Sales, Service, Commerce and Field Service to help our clients create, build, and manage lasting customer relationships from customer acquisition through retention and everything in between. The role demands a leader with the ability to coach, advise, motivate, and maintain a high-performance sales force.
What can you expect as a Regional Sales Manager?
This is a front-line manager role managing and developing a team of sales representatives.
Sell our CX Cloud solutions into our Strategic Named Accounts in the Financial Services and Insurance Vertical
Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale.
Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.
Create and execute key sales and business development initiatives to improve awareness of Oracle CX and increase sales pipeline.
Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, and analyzing performance data.
Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
Successfully remove obstacles for your teams’ success.
Demonstrate sound independent judgment, initiative, collaboration and leadership
Skills & Qualifications:
History of leading team to hitting/exceeding annual sales quotas
Proven track record of success the sales cycle from plan to close
Superb leadership ability
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
College degree or equivalent in experience preferred
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
