Job Description

As a Quality Line Inspector, you will be responsible for auditing line quality records on the plant floor performed by operations. You will ensure the accuracy of weight, labels, lot numbers, and check for leaks, indentations, and tears in packaging. Your role will involve recording inspection results, calculating basic statistical information, and maintaining a clean work environment. Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

  • Audit line quality records on the plant floor.

  • Check and record weight of products.

  • Ensure proper labels, lot numbers, and printing on packaging.

  • Inspect for leaks, indentations, and tears in packaging.

  • Verify seals on bags and caps.

  • Check pallets of products for proper labeling and packaging.

  • Notify Line Supervisor when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are noted.

  • Record inspection results on forms and input data into computer systems.

  • Calculate and record basic statistical information.

  • Assist with quality performance audits.

  • Maintain a clean work environment both inside and outside the facility.

  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
