Description Position: IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER -- DIRECT HIRE

Location: DES MOINES, IA -- ONSITE

Salary: $100,000 - 130,000 + EXCEPTIONAL BENEFITS

Continue to keep your technical skills sharp and manage a small team at the same time. Our client company is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer who has hands on and recent experience with network, systems, security and desktop administration and trouble shooting. This positions also requires prior formal administrative leadership experience.

Great opportunity to balance hands-on while managing a small team and mentoring others. You will get to do both and never have to choose between one or the other. Keeping your hands-on technical skills fresh and relevant, keeps you up to date and continuing to learn and grow in your first passion for IT. Secondarily, you will have the opportunity to help mentor and guide a small team as well.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain a powerful network of servers and infrastructure devices.

2. Manage software/hardware installation, system performance monitoring, and data center operations.

3. Dabble in project implementation and support IT solutions.

4. Safeguard voice/data communication infrastructure.

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise in Azure, 365, VMware, Nutanix, Active Directory, Cisco Meraki, and more.

• Able to independently navigate IT logistics and procurement.
