Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial professional with a proven track record in financial management, accounting, inventory control, and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. The Director of Finance will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company, optimizing accounting processes, managing inventory effectively, leading the budgeting process, and leveraging data to provide valuable insights for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
    • Oversee the coordination of resources for the annual financial review process.
  2. Process Improvement:
    • Analyze existing accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.
  3. Inventory Control and Management:
    • Develop and implement strategies for effective inventory control, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing carrying costs.
    • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to streamline inventory processes and enhance accuracy.
  4. Budget Oversight:
    • Lead the financial budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish accurate and achievable financial targets.
    • Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  5. ERP Solution Evaluation and Implementation:
    • Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable ERP solutions that align with the company's financial, inventory management, and budgeting goals.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for the implementation of the chosen ERP solution.
  6. Data Analysis and Financial Insight:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of the company's financial, inventory, and budgeting data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
    • Utilize financial, inventory, and budgeting data to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  7. Strategic Financial Planning:

- - Work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute financial, inventory, and budgeting strategies aligned with the company's overall goals. - Provide financial, inventory, and budgeting forecasts and scenario analysis to guide long-term planning.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  2. Experience:
    • Proven experience 10+ Years in a senior finance role, demonstrating success in financial management, inventory control, budgeting, and ERP implementation.
    • Experience with ERP evaluation, selection, and implementation.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting principles, financial modeling, inventory management, and budgeting.
    • Knowledge of ERP systems, with the ability to assess and recommend suitable solutions.
  4. Communication and Leadership:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex financial, inventory, and budgeting information to diverse stakeholders.
  5. Analytical and Strategic Thinking:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and provide insights for business decision-making.
  6. Adaptability:
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
