Job Description:

• Assist in the creation and development of strategic documents including project business cases, assessments, communication plans and detailed project plans.

• Analyze, propose, test, and implement various types of solutions for project enhancements.

• Analyze data when required - Research problems/issues and recommend solutions

• Provide tactical analysis associated with projects

• Test system enhancements, upgrades

• Serve as liaison between IT and user group

• Support the production users in their day to day jobs

• Participate in projects as assigned by providing input to the project structure and acting as a SME (Subject Matter Expert)

• Present project updates/presentations to management within Finance

• Use different applications to create various forms of output as needed.

• Work to improve processes and tools used within the program of work

• Lead small teams on minor projects - Use the appropriate tools to manage projects

• Track tasks and follows up with responsible individuals

• Escalate issues when appropriate

• Keep management informed of progress with projects or tasks assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced MS Excel – including ability to create macros

• Advanced MS Access - including ability to create databases in Access or other platforms

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Basic knowledge of Power Bi

• 1-3 years of prior accounting experience and understanding of basic accounting functions
