Aerotek Pipefitter Foreman in Davenport, Iowa

Job Description:

A pipefitter foreman manages the work of pipefitters and plumbers who install, assemble, and maintain piping and equipment. Their responsibilities include:

  • Assigning tasks: Assigning workers to specific duties and setting work schedules

  • Inspecting work: Checking that completed work meets specifications and local codes

  • Training: Teaching new workers how to use tools and equipment

  • Ordering materials: Ordering supplies and materials, and tracking inventory

  • Maintaining equipment: Keeping tools and equipment in good condition

  • Scheduling: Scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors

  • Ensuring safety: Making sure work crews follow safety standards

  • Managing logistics: Handling the budget and other construction project logistics

  • Using hand tools and equipment: Assisting with construction projects by using hand tools and heavy equipment

Work Hours:

Monday-Saturday

50-60 hours

Additional Info:

$100 per diem for days worked
