Description

Robert Half is hiring for Payroll Administrators for employers in the Quad Cities area! We are seeking candidates that possess strong understanding of payroll processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Day-to-Day Duties Include:

  • Processing payroll

  • Reconciling payroll sub-ledger to the general ledger

  • Remitting payroll taxes and governmental reporting

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements

One of the client needs that we are supporting is a payroll function that reports through HR. This opportunity would open up the potential of getting involved with other duties such as:

  • Preparing new hire documentation and insurance forms

  • Maintaining employee data

  • Assisting with a range of HR and payroll related reporting

  • Preparing annual salary surveys

  • Providing support to managers with personnel and performance issues

    Requirements

Skills We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience working in payroll administration or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in payroll software/systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
