The Supervisor Logistics will lead an area focused on the planning and execution of Receiving, Warehousing and Material Distribution operations for Collins Aerospace

Tasks to be performed will entail Providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. This position supervises bargaining unit employees in Materials & Logistics, sets day-to-day goals, oversees materials management and logistics activities, audits inventory levels, supervises the training of direct reports, and reconciles discrepancies.

This role will be performed onsite at our Collins location in Coralville, IA.

This position may be eligible for relocation

What You Will Do:

  • Expectations of the Role: 3rd Shift

  • Guide materials management and logistics activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed

  • Supervise the training of direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed

  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems to ensure effective logistics deployment

  • Audit Inventory levels to ensure availability of materials

  • Troubleshoot and reconcile large discrepancies to ensure compliance of standards, effective material management, and smooth logistics deployment

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualification We Prefer:

  • Prior Logistics, shipping & receiving and/or warehouse experience

  • Supervisory experience

  • SAP knowledge

Employee Referral Eligible

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
