Description:

Using a variety of procedures and test methodology, independently performs clinical laboratory analysis on biological specimens and provides technical expertise and information to our clients. Identifies problems that may adversely affect test performance and/or results and uses knowledge, critical thinking skills, and judgment to troubleshoot and resolve them. Consults with director, supervisors, and pathologists when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as a biological, chemical, or medical laboratory science program from an accredited institution preferred.

  2. Demonstrates professionalism and teamwork.

  3. Has knowledge of and can operate laboratory related computer software and systems.

  4. Must work with exacting numbers, have good eye-hand coordination, and possess good color discrimination.

  5. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

  6. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  7. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
