We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Accountant for a part-time, contract position. In this role, you will be primarily tasked with supporting the day-to-day accounting activities within our team, preparing bank reconciliations, and assisting with compiling various reports. This individual will work with high-volume bank reconciliations utilizing Excel and a PDF editor.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the preparation of bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies encountered

• Reviewing and documenting daily wire transfers and lockbox transactions

• Take responsibility for preparing documents for record retention purposes

• Comply with internal risk policies and controls, and document processes and procedures effectively

• Participate in projects and perform other tasks as required

• Load documents into the filing retention system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize skills in Bank Reconciliations, Month End Close, Microsoft Excel, and PDF.

This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity starting in November and going through January. This position is 20-30 hours weekly.

Requirements

• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Ability to handle, create, and edit PDF documents

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

• Previous experience editing PDF documents is desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
